Weaver…

My mind is always racing (in the good way…) about connecting things together that I come across. This “data collection” happens in casual conversations, meetings, and as I come across various articles, news, and ideas. I have been recently thinking of my life as one huge qualitative research project — continually identifying themes, patterns, and stories that emerge. I draw upon my diverse life experiences and am in continual reflection. I learn from these experiences and then share those with others when the time/need arises. Because I can thread those experiences, learnings, and conversations together I am able to help others, I believe, more effectively.

My Myers-Brigg code is ENFP: this is definitely “me.”

This ability to intuitively understand people and situations. ENFPs generally understand things quickly and with great depth. Accordingly, they are quite flexible and adapt well to a wide range of tasks. They are good at most anything that interests them. As they grow and further develop their intuitive abilities and insights, they become very aware of possibilities, and this makes them quite resourceful when solving problems.

In general, ENFPs are upbeat visionaries. They highly value knowledge, and spend much of their lives seeking a higher understanding. They live in the world of possibilities, and become excited about concepts, challenges and difficulties. When presented with a problem, they’re good at improvising and quickly come up with a creative solution. Creative, clever, curious, and theoretical, ENFPs have a broad range of possibilities in their lives.

For those that know me, I think they can definitely vouch for the “excited” part. The excitement and curiosity, tied with my innate desire to help others, is what inspires me and makes me continually learn, reflect, and connect. Inspired by each and every moment and interaction. Grateful for my experiences to date and for those to come…
